Disorders of the urinary tract
Kittens, too, can develop bladder stones. SANIMED Kitten prevents the formation of struvite by means of a low urinary acidity (pH) and low concentrations of struvite creating components, such as magnesium, ammonium, phosphate.
Growth
SANIMED Kitten is formulated to meet the high nutritional demands of kittens of all breeds. Growth and production of new tissue are greatest in this stage of life. SANIMED Kitten has a formulated content of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D for healthy skeletal development. The high EPA content results in the synthesis of eicosanoids, which have an inhibiting e ect on in ammations and consequently suppress atopic reactions.
Low pH
SANIMED Kitten reduces urine pH to approx. 6.3 and contains relatively low amounts of magnesium, phosphorus and protein in order to lower the concentrations of struvite creating components. Struvite urolithiasis may occur in kittens, resulting in disorders of the lower urinary tract. Counteracting the formation of struvite is possible by inducing a low urinary pH and low concentrations of struvite creating components (magnesium, ammonium, phosphate).
Feeding schedule
The ground for a long and healthy cat life is laid in its youth. The physical condition of the cat during the various stages of its life determine its life expectancy to a large extent. An ideal body condition reduces the risk of disease. Good condition depends on food intake and the amount of exercise. By means of the nutrition plan you can determine how much food your kitten needs.
